FORUM

Today’s FORUM am STERNPLATZ was originally created under the name ‘Einkaufs- und Freizeitzentrum Innenstadt’. The idea came from the City Center financier Hans Grothe. Work on the center, which was originally planned as an extension to the Sauerland Center, began in 1978. Under the direction of Fellbach building contractor Kurt Knödler, changing co-investors and the city of Lüdenscheid, the construction was realised in four stages.
