CULTURE HOUSE

With its striking architecture, the Kulturhaus, completed in 1981, sets a special urban accent: ideally located in the centre of the city and yet in the green surroundings of the Stadtgarten, the building presents itself as a forum for culture and encounters with its wide range of uses. In 1983, Stuttgart architects Gutbrod, Billing, Peters and Ruff were awarded the Beton architecture prize, one of the oldest architecture prizes in Germany, for their architecturally outstanding building.
