This video mapping presents money as a reflection of social identity over time. It explores how people’s identities are shaped by the power of money and currency fluctuations—forces that can both divide and unite societies. The projection is based on a layout grid by Karl Gerstner.
SHADI JAFARABADI
From classic design systems to digital media: Shadi Jafarbadi develops graphic concepts to critically reflect socio-political contexts, socio-cultural structures and identity-forming aspects. Her themes are the history of economics, concepts of decolonisation and feminist strategies. In 2024, she was one of the prizewinners of the international GOLDSTÜCKE open call in Gelsenkirchen.
